Adults need gap years too – break out and take a rumspringa

It is interesting to note that in “English” popular media it is the rumspringa that seems to attract the most attention. In this case the writer longs to have her own non-Amish rumspringa where she is free to literally do anything she wants with absolutely no moral repercussions whatsoever vis-a-vie her already established family life. She bases her flawed notion of what rumspringa is on an episode of the “reality” show Breaking Amish. Judging by the allusions made in her text I think she would be well advised to look into where she might go and participate in a Bacchanalia rather than a rumspringa.
