The key ingredient will be for locals to support the revitalization of the core downtown area by going downtown and actually enjoying what Hankey and other business owners have struggled to create. As the article mentions, there is no unchangeable reason why York’s downtown cannot equal that of Lancaster in terms of being a thriving business and cultural district.
