The ThunderHawk, which opened in 1924, has been the target of a restoration project that started this winter.The park, through a partnership with a local manufacterer, is spending the off-season building and installing new trains on ThunderHawk and painting the entire coaster in a cream color that’s reminiscent of its original look.
