Montgomery County exhibit  examines Pennsylvania Dutch practice of powwow

The exhibit opens Saturday and will run until Oct. 29. It will offer visitors the experience of viewing a treasure-trove of documents, books, pamphlets and objects, provided by a variety of collectors through Donmoyer, the curator. All relate to the ritualistic folk healing and divination customs dubbed powwowing, with all of its acclaimed spiritual, prayerful and magical ways of dealing with the ultimate mysteries of life.
