The future of the 174 foot long bridge built in 1889 is up in air due to the fact that the insurance policy taken out on the bridge will pay out less than half of the structure’s assessed value of $ 1.5 million. Perry county has an additional twelve covered bridges, but the Dellville bridge was the longest and one of the most scenic.
