You can take a free tour of the Harley Davidson factory that lasts one hour. These pictures are of the visitor center where the tours depart. There is a large exhibition space featuring some displays dealing with the manufacturing process, examples of what I think are all the current models under production as well as a gift shop filled with Harley Davidson branded merchandise. You can explore these spaces and take the one hour factory tour all for free. There is also paid Steel Shoe Tour:
… that gives you a chance to experience Harley-Davidson history and get up-close and personal by taking you through the manufacturing of fuel tanks, frames, and fenders, as well as many ‘employee only’ areas in paint and polish. The Steel Toe Tour goes behind-the-scenes through areas previously unseen by the public.
I would love to be able to post some photos from inside the facilities but cameras are forbidden. I will however post a review of the tours once I take them so stayed tuned.
