On this trip we parked at Koser Park in Bainbridge and walked 1.5 miles south along the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail to find the cliffs. I was told by some people biking the trail that the path under Shocks Mill Bridge was passable but not yet finished. At the northern end of the trail near Falmouth, PA you will find a vast area of potholes and sculpted bedrock of all shapes and sizes exposed at Conewago Falls when the river is at or under the 3.5 foot level. These potholes are easily one of the most beautiful and unique geologic features in the state and along with the White Cliffs of Conoy are a must see for locals and visitors alike.
