Starting Monday, PennLive will begin its series “Preserving Pennsylvania,” which will tell their stories.
- Lancaster leads the state and nation as the county with the most acres preserved.
- Berks County is second in the state and third in the nation.
- York County is third in the state, and its national ranking fluctuates annually between eighth and ninth.
