→ The 2015 Pennsylvania Dutch Calendar – Der Pennsylvannisch Deitsch Kalenner
Subtitled “Where Have All the Outhouses Gone?” (Wu sinn all die Briwwe gange?), this 13-month Pennsylvania Dutch calendar features an old favorite in the Pennsylvania Dutch landscape.
Once common on the local landscape, outhouses in many areas have nearly vanished from the neighborhood. Outhouses are quite diverse, echoing all of the different building trends in Pennsylvania. Beautiful full-color photos will have you searching for outhouses in your neck of the woods!
All text within the calendar is in Pennsylvania Dutch and then translated into English. (28pp. full-color illus. spiral. Masthof Press, 2014.)
You can buy it at the Masthof Press online bookstore.
