Up from the ashes: Plans proceed to rebuild Dellville Covered Bridge

 

The intent is to restore the Wheatfield Township bridge to its pre-fire state, she said. The structure was built in 1889. Before the November 2014 fire, it was the longest and widest of 14 covered bridges in the county. The span over Sherman’s Creek is on the National Register of Historic Places.
