→ With new owners, Haines Shoe House becomes bakery & treat shop – The York Daily Record
This is great news! I grew up within walking distance of the Haines Show House and remember going there as a child for ice cream. It is one of the iconic roadside attractions of Pennsylvania Dutch County and as such should be utilized to the fullest extent possible.
Hours: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. The owners plan to open on the first day of spring each year and to stay open until sometime in mid-November.
Be sure to visit the Haines Shoe House Facebook page.
