UPDATE: Two eggs again! Should be an interesting 2016 season with the sound and the new infrared night cam. If last years timeline is indicative of this season there should be an egg appearing any day.
The first egg was laid on Saturday February 14 according to the article linked above, and another should be coming along anytime now. The incubation period will likely end when the first egg hatches around March 21.
One of the most interesting moments so far was when one of the eagles – who had been sitting on the eggs for hours as a storm buried it beneath a thick blanket of snow, finally spread it’s wings and cleared the nest. The video below captures that moment.
